AEG TO SUPPLY FISH FARM EQUIPMENT TO NEW BRUNSWICK OPERATION

ST. ANDREWS, NB - AEG Inc. (St. Andrews, NB) has secured an order to supply up to 15 AEG Containment Systems to Admiral Fish Farms Ltd. for a new site in New Brunswick, Canada. These systems will be delivered for smolt entered in 2010. AEG will oversee the installation of complete AEG Containment Systems, which will be moored using AEG supplied Jeyco Stingray anchors.

The order is accompanied by an Equipment Framework Agreement providing appropriate discounts for additional AEG Containment Systems and AEG Feeders that are purchased through 2011.

AEG Containment Systems combine the logistics mitigation advantages of surface-based cages with reduced forces offered by submerged cages in a cost-effective single unit. AEG Containment Systems provide a consistent growing volume and therefore increases fish welfare by dramatically reducing fish stress, abrasion and mortality while minimizing downgrades at harvest, especially while operating high energy sites.
