07 May 2009AEG Feeder Ordered for Operation in Newfoundland & Labrador
ST. ANDREWS, NB - Aquaculture Engineering Group Inc. (St. Andrews, NB) announced today that it has signed a contract to deliver an AEG Feeder to an aquaculture company operating on the south coast of Newfoundland & Labrador. Feeder delivery will occur by early Fall 2009.
All AEG Feeders incorporate the AEG water borne feeding technology. AEG Feeders are capable of feeding up to 28 cages simultaneously for extended periods of time each day - essentially allowing the marine operator to use effective hatchery feeding strategies in grow-out cages. The specific feeder ordered has 90 metric tonnes of feed storage capacity and built-in electrical capacity to power cage lights.
